Working For The Cure
Working (& donating) For The Cure!
Every year, thanks to you and your purchases, we donate 10% of Pink Ribbon Tool Belt sales (25% during October, breast cancer awareness month) to the National Breast Cancer Foundation whose mission is to save lives through early breast cancer detection and to provide mammograms for people in need.
Are you working for the cure? Find out more about our Working For The Cure program.
The Kenya Project
Thanks to your purchases, Pink Tool Belts (through The Kenya Project), has built a total of six homes for widowed women and their children in Kenya, Africa. We are excited that a new home, for Lucy and her daughter, is scheduled to break ground soon.
Fall Is Here. Get Your Pink Work Gloves On.
Fall is just around the corner, and so is all the dirty (and hopefully fun!) work that comes along with it: cleaning up the yard, gathering firewood, planting in your garden, and everything else on your to-do list. When you get to work this fall, get your Pink Work Gloves on.
MAGIC Camp
Our Pink Tool Belts Team had a blast spending a half-day at the Central Coasts MAGIC Camp, which stands for Mentoring A Girl In Construction. MAGIC Camp is a unique summer camp for female high school students interested in non-traditional construction careers.
Hmmmm...are those Pink Tool Belts the girls are wearing in these pictures? Well, off course! If these ladies were going to be working hard learning new skills then they needed the right grear - Pink gear!
Moore Community House - Women In Construction Program
The Moore Community House Women in Construction Program seeks to tackle the challenge of developing construction training and associated social and workplace supports for women entering this nontraditional field. We love what they do, which is why we donate Pink Tool Belts to their students.
